Does anyone know if there is a way in Exchange to attach a Confidentiality Notice to the bottom of every internet based email. Says the Manager to the person that invented the modem: "Tell me again why you need two prototypes?!?"

We have a legal disclaimer on our outbound Internet email which is stored in the registry under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIMC\Parameters\Extension\OutboundAppend.

This uses Imsext.dll to add the text held in the key to any email going out through the IMS. This is using Exch 5.5 SP3.

Have a look at Article Q258206 on Technet. It goes into more detail on setting the whole thing up.

Hope this helps

David
