I need to setup a conferencing unit in a small sized room for approx 15 users. I need to ensure that it is compatible with a Succession 3.0 Business Policy Switch. Has anyone used the following conferencing set or recommend a unit to use?

Thanks

That phone is not built for your switch. It is built for the nortel norstar or bcm. You need a phone that is compatible with nortel meridian Option swtiches.

norstar and bcm are trademarks of nortels small business lines.. merridian pbx switches use digital sets with 2000 or 3900 series sets.. as post any analog conf phone will work behind the switch, we use the polycom "spyder" set on the second link... build it as a 500 in load 10

Thanks everyone! I am going to look into the Polycom SoundStation 2.

How many calls can be “conferenced” through this unit in a session due to it being connected to an analog port?
We can currently conference 6 calls in a session on the M3910 digital set by using the A06 conferencing feature of the switch.
I don’t fully understand how the analog port would be able to support this feature. Does that make sense what I'm asking?

Thanks

In the class of service you need C6A and XFA. Then use the flash button to add other callers I believe.

Or you could use a 3910 phone to make the calls and add the conf phone last.
