Conferencing Paging Device

We were asked to conference three paging systems that way our public safety just has to provide the over head page twice. We are using an SV9500. Two of the systems are programmed as virtual stations call forward all to POTS line and the last one is setup as a trunk.

Basically we are looking for solution that would allow all three systems to be called at one time from a Dterm instead of separately. Unfortunately AIZP is Dterm only.

I haven't done this, but in theory it may work:

If you have PIMs with physical circuit cards, get a 8/16/32 party conference card. If you are pure IP, get a VS32 that can do 8/16/32 party conferences.

Then, there is a feature [P-24] Preset Conference, where the caller / leader dials a main number and predesignated numbers are called up. So the pre-designated numbers can be the numbers for your virtual stations (that are forwarded to the POTS lines) or dial directly the POTs lines, and the 3rd number can be the access code to the trunk. All 3 of these of course, should be set up to auto answer in the shortest amount of time possible. Once all 3 answers, the caller can make the announcement, and it should come through on all 3 channels.

Again, this is in theory, and I haven't done it myself, but could just work. There could be kinks to overcome.
