Conferencing Help

Good Afternoon,

Per the knowledgebase - "For Release 8.0+, each user's own extension number is treated as their own personal conference number. Only that user is able to start a conference using that number as the conference ID"

Is there a way to turn this off? I have a bridge through VM PRO that uses the callers extensions, these have been often used from other sources rather than the original callers actual extension.

Not sure how to get around this. Any help would be appreciated.

if i understand correctly your vm pro call flow is directing calls to a conference meet me with an id that matches existing extn numbers.
if this is the case simply change the id's in the VM pro call flow
if these are generated from a system variable (ig $KEY) just add a prefix digit in front.

These were generated from a system variable. Thanks i'll give the prefix a shot. No coffee this morning.
