I have the need to conference a incoming call with out putting the 1st call on hold. Say I am on talking on Key 0 and a second call comes in on Key 2, can I conference that call with out putting the 1st caller on hold? I tried using the NCH features but they seem to work on incoming calls. thanks

You may want to check out the NHC (No Hold Conference) feature.

Hope this helps...

Kris

I have never tried this and I don't have a switch to try this on but maybe if you have (call pickup allowed) and have the phone in a pickup group, you might be able to hit the conf key and then hit the call pickup key you might be able to conf it in that way. give it a try.

Thanks for the replies. I have tried those and they did not work. Any other suggestions?

There is no way I know of conferencing 2 i/c calls on a digital telephone together
The NHC ( no hold Confrenece ) key is used when you are dialling people into a conference
the o/g call has to be instigated by the extn with the NHC key

There is no doubt on the functionality of NHC as I have been using it myself. May be you are doing something wrong jjmcc2.

Mabsar, maybe I am, but are you able to do this with incoming calls? What I have tried is: I am already on a call, the 2nd call comes in, I press NCH but have no way of adding the 2nd call. Try it, I am only dealing with incoming calls. Thanks.
