Has anyone been able to record conference calls?

I see here that the conferences take place in voicemail from "Conf meet-me" but I do not see any internal or inbound recording for it.

Call flow is
DID - > conference prompt -> Blank user (VRL ON Ext/Int) fwd'd to SH.C: #1234 -> Conference Meet-Me Telephone: 123 (unique identifier)

Internal calls dial the Blank user fwd'ing to appropriate conference meet-me.

I check calls, no recording. I see both extensions go into the voicemail instance (conference). I've also added a record button for the internal phone dialing the blank extension (With VRL turned on both dialing internal and blank extension, also VRL turned on the DID i'm dialing into from my external number)

Using Xima, anyone have any idea?

What's the point of the internal user dialling a forwarded user instead of the code directly?
I believe the issue with recording conference calls stems from the fact the system uses the conference chip to record calls, it uses 3 conference channels for every recorded call, one for user A, one for user B and one for the VM channel :)

If you have 2 DID's then you can do it with some normalcy of recording.

1 DID for everyone to call into the bridge no recording turned on.

1 DID for the moderator that has recording turned on in the incoming call route.

reason why that way is that if you check the call recording in the incoming call route EVERY call will be recorded that passes through the incoming call route so if you have 10 callers you record 10 times and not once.

Internal only recording is a no go. At least not that I have found easily or bothered spending time on it TBH

Hi guys,

The extensions were set before I worked on it, I just added more bridge extensions as they came in. No recording was being used at the time so it was okay.

What would be the most feasible way to set up a conference bridge?

I've added call recording at every place possible, ICR, User, and set Record Call button. Everything is going to VRL so calls are in the appropriate folder.
