Using 3.0(40) on a 412 with two PRIs. I'm using VMPRo 3.0 to do an assisted transfer to a short code that is defined as a "Conference Meet Me" We have several different short codes so we can have multiple conferences going at once. It's been working fine until today.

Today we had two conferences going, once 16 people were connected, no more could get in. There were 10 in one conference, 6 in another and anyone else that tried to connect failed. The failed calls were following the "No Answer" route in the VMPRo "Assisted Transfer" action and were then disconnected (by the VMPro routing.)

Any idea why the system would be limited to 16 users in conference total? Is this a feature or a bug?

Have tested on a 403, as is dcumented that 1 conferance of 64, or 2 of 32, or 4 of 16 can be made on any IPO...

we got over 20 in the lab here on a 403 on 3.0(40).....so it may have something to do maybe with your cfg......

Have alo tested on a 406 V2 the same all ok....

There lso may be an issue with your conferance chip being faulty hence the issues you are experiancing

This happend to our in house system once. A reboot resolved the problem & sofar it has not returned.

A reboot didn't clear it up. I duplicated the problem today by dialing in from 16 different stations, the 17th failed. I have a monitor session of the event so I'll see what Avaya has to say.

I would say Faulty Conference chip
request a replacement system unit under warantee
