I'm an adminstrater for an opt51 c and intermittantly the conference key won't work. A few complaints came from the users which at first I dismisses as user error. It started not working with me this morning. Any ideas out there as to what would cause this?

Thanks

Stat your conference packs
Is that happening all the time for every one or its intermitting?

It's intermittant. How do I stat my conference packs?

Thanks

You can list the conference-loop in LD 22 by PRT : TYPE CEQU. They will be listed as CONF 29 30 31 and so on.
Now you can move in to LD 38 and do a STAT on them.
Remember that your attendant-consoles uses these conference-bridges when they answer calls. Maby you need to enable some if they are disabled or maby add some more.

Should I disable and then re-enable?

.STAT 13

CNFC 00 DSBL 14 BUSY
CHAN 00 DSBL 00 BUSY

Appreciate the help.

All set. I disabled the loop and re-enabled it.

Thanks for the help.

You could try, but if these 14 are real calls, they will be dropped. Monitor your Conf-loops over some time, say 15-20 minutes. If this number is more or less constant it could indicate that most of these are calls/conferences that got stuck and need to be Disabled/Enabled to free them.
But remember this depends on the trafficload on the switch, if it's real traffic or not.
How many Conf-loop do you have?
For every loop you can have 30 calls(units). A 4-part conference would use 4 units.
Maby what happens is that all unit are in use some times, then new conferences would be denied.
