We are working with a Definity G3si V6 (it's old I know), but we recently changed service providers for our CO lines and our Tie T1 line. The new provider copied the configuration of the T1 from the old provider and we are able to make outbound calls on the T1 with no problems except for the fact that when we call an outside line and connect the call, we press the Conference button and then choose an open line on the phone, dial anotherr outside number and the call connects, but when we hit the Conference button again the 2nd line blinks like the 1st line and then the 2nd line stops blinking and the 1st call remains in the 'on hold'status (blinking). The provider says that the PBX needs to be configured for the lines to connect to one another, but we did not change anything on the PBX side when we changed providers. Apparently, the providers Central Office switch can not do what the previous providers Central Office switch could do. Any tips on reconfiguring the PBX to do what the provider should be doing would be helpful. Thanks in advance for any help.

This has nothing to do with the provider, it's you pbx. I am assuming you built a new trunk group? Does the new trunk group have the same COR as the old one?

Use the "list trace stat xxxx" command and find out the denial event number that you are receiving.

The trunk group is the same trunk group we just changed where the cable plugged into. We can not do a list trace because the switch release does not have that feature available, UNFORTUNATELY. Any other ideas?

It's a shot in the dark, but check the "disconnect supervision" on the trunk group.

I agree with Susan,

Look for Disconnect Supervision IN and OUT should be set to Y

Well, it was finally resolved. The PBX was fine, the Provider was not sending the right info for connected calls. Basically they were not sending the 1's and 0's correctly as well as not providing disconnect and answer supervision so the PBX could not decifer the info correctly. Thank you all for your input on this one.
