Conference Call Question

Is it possible for BCM user A to set up a conference call as folows:
BCM user A calls external number.
BCM User A calls 2nd external number.
BCM user A calls BCM user B(internal)
BCM user A backs out of call leaving BCM user B and 2 external callers.
I have tried everything but I do not think it is doable. Anyone have any thoughts?

Since A built the conference and if A leaves, it will disconnect. But if A puts the conf on hold the conf will continue.
