conference call after hang up 1

So minus setting up a conference bridge, the customer used to be able to setup a conference call then hang up and not disconnect the conf call on their old nor star. Is this possible on the IPO?

You can setup that the whole conference is ended when the last internal user hangs up the call.
So you will be able to keep it running also.
This setting can be found here: system -> telephony -> drop external only impromptu conference


· Drop External Only Impromptu Conference: Default = Off. Release 5.0+.
If selected, when the last remaining internal user in a conference exits the conference, the conference is ended, regardless of whether it contains any external callers. If not selected, the conference is automatically ended when the last internal party or trunk that supports reliable disconnect exits the conference. The Inhibit Off-Switch Forward/Transfer option above is no longer applied to conference calls.

hey peter so tried it with the box checked and unchecked still same outcome, when the internal user hangs up the conf call is dropped

Then you have found a bug, the help is very clear on this

the latest, they do have analog trunk and analog trunk to trunk transfer was not checked so i set this to take effect tonight. Will try again in the morning and then avaya here we come
