I am working on BCM 200 V3.7 Every time I try to conference call, I get a error tone with the message "Conference Busy" Has anyone had this problem before? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Known issue especially when using silent monitor. They both share the same resources. A power cycle is the only way to fix it. These resources reside on the MSC card not the Hard Drive. Make sure to apply all the lastest patches available.

The "Conference Busy" message in the display is from all in use or locked up conference resources. Not having 2 intercom keys will not display this error. You just won't have a call path to make your second call. A Power cycle is the only way to resolve it.

Thanks for responding. I've already done a reboot, no change. Going to look into any patches avalible now.

Did you power cycle the unit or do a reboot? You must power cycle to clear this issue.

I did a reboot only, I will do a power cycle and will post the results. thanks

The lock up is in the MSC card (Norstar on a blade) not the software running on the Hard Drive. That is why a power cycle must be done. I would update all patches after the unit comes back up. Make sure to do a back up before doing anything or else you will be in a world of hurt if the old hard drive decides to fail.
