We have an Avaya IP Office 412, Version 3.1
AVAYA CONFERENCE BRIDGE SENDS EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS TO NTERNAL (IN NETWORK) ATTENDEES WITHOUT PROBLEM,BUT DOES NOT SEND EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS TO OUTSIDE (OUT OF LAN/WAN)

You need to configure a virtual smtp server to forward outbound emails.

Or enable mail bridging on the SMTP mail server.
