We have an incoming 888# that is directed to SCCS 4.0. We used to play the main greeting with 5 menu options right from Symposium. However, the client needed to have the ability to re-record the greeting at anytime from anywhere. So we have configured a voice menu in Meridian Mail r13 so they could dial up and re-record the message.

However, now if the main switchboard receives a call they cannot transfer the call to the internal 4 digit ext. They get a message that that selection is not available. However, if they dial the number eternally, it works. SCCS could accept a conferenced call, Meridian Mail cannot. Can this be changed?

No that's the way it works, basically it's so you can't record a phone call
