I have an Option 11 with 2 expansions. when I print my cequ I see conf loop 29, 30, 62, 94 and 95 but when I try and stat in ld 38 loop 94 and 95 are dsbl. Should they be? how can you tell?
Very interesting question paul35. You peaked my curiousity so I dialed into 3 option 11 systems I maintain. One is a 2 cabinet system (main + expansion), one is a 4 cabinet system (main + 3 expansions) and one is a 5 cabinet system (main + 4 expansions).
**The 2 cabinet system shows conference loops 62, 94, and 95 disabled.
**The 4 cabinet system shows only loop 95 disabled. Loops 62 and 94 are enabled and working.
**The 5 cabinet system shows all conference loops enabled and working.
With your system being 3 cabinets, it stands to reason based on my results above that loops 94 and 95 be disabled.
So without no official statement or documentation from Nortel, it seems that everytime you add a cabinet you gain a conference loop. Next Friday night we will be upgrading the 4 cabinet option 11 I mention above and we will also add a 5th cabinet. I will stat the conference loops after the cabinet is added and see if it is automatically enabled.
Paul35, we upgraded a 4 cabinet Option 11 last Friday night and added a 5th cabinet. Conference loop 95 was disabled before the upgrade. Once the upgrade was complete and the 5th cabinet added I statted the conference loops again. Loop 95 was enabled and in service on its own. We didn't do anything to bring it up.
