Is there an option or procedure to use the Definity G3i as a teleconferance bridge?

I believe that you are looking for the "Meet-Me Conference" ability. What version of Definity are you on?

I myself just got an R11 about a week ago, I was working on a R4 and it was all I knew.

Setting up meet-me conferencing is super easy. Take a look at page 55 on:
One thing that was a little intimidating at first since I had never setup a vector was that you will get a message saying that "some actions may cause something to stop functioning properly" I think that is just a default message.

Each VDN can support upto 6 parties. I setup two vdns and two vectors. In the first vdn, I changed the vector so that instead of saying "if meet-me full disconnect" to "if meet-me full route to vector 2" and then thats pretty much all I had to do. Then when they have conferences they just have to conference in the two vdn's.

If you need more precise help let me know.

CaNNaBiS, I tried to set up the two VDNs and two vectors like you did, but could get it to do it...

In the first Vector I have the following

route to meet-me
goto step 3 if meet me full
route to number XXXX.

I also tried

route to meet-me
goto step 3 if meet me full
route to vector 2

How is your first Vector written?

Example of a real simple meet-me-vector:

Number: 13 Name: Meet-me
Multimedia? n Attendant Vectoring? n Meet-me Conf? y Lock? y
Basic? y EAS? y G3V4 Enhanced? y ANI/II-Digits? y ASAI Routing? n
Prompting? y LAI? n G3V4 Adv Route? y CINFO? y BSR? y Holidays? y

01 wait-time 2 secs hearing ringback
02 collect 6 digits after announcement 14001
03 goto step 5 if digits = meet-me-access
04 disconnect after announcement 14002
05 goto step 9 if meet-me-full
06
07 route-to meetme
08 stop
09 disconnect after announcement 14003
10 stop
11 announcement 14004

12 wait-time 60 secs hearing music
13 route-to meetme
14 stop
15

Your "go to step 3 if meet-me-full" statement should be before you route to meetme. Just flip the 1st and 2nd lines.

Thank you guys and gals. I switched the lines and it works...sometimes. I may have to put in some waits maybe? Every so often I get a fast busy.

I will add announcements when I get my VAL board..!!!1

Well I am stumped,

My vector is written as so:

goto step 3 if meet me full
route to meet-me
route to number XXXX with cov y if unconditionally

XXXX is the other meetme conference.

Do I need any stops, waits?

OMG IT WOULD HAVE HELPED IF I HAD BASIC VECTORING TURNED ON!! Hence the name, n00b. Vectoring comes with the meet-me conference but not full on Vectoring...so instead of buying the full right to use, I purchased one call center agent license. With it they turned on all Vectoring options....SWEEET.

Sorry for beating a dead horse, but....I still can't get my Vector to route to another meetme.

I have to write it like so:

CALL VECTOR

Number: 1 Name: Conference 1
Attendant Vectoring? n Meet-me Conf?y Lock? y
Basic? y EAS? n G3V4 Enhanced? y ANI/II-Digits? y ASAI Routing? n
Prompting? y LAI? n G3V4 Adv Route? y CINFO? y BSR? y Holidays? y

01 goto step 3 if meet-me-full
02 route-to meetme
03 route-to number 911234567890 with cov y if unconditionally

For some reason it will not let me route to a meetme vdn...

Do I need EAS or ASAI routing? What about LAI? They have an acronym for everything but heaven help them if they abbv anything...

n00b

Are you routing to an internal extension, or an external number? If it's an external number, make sure that the COR of the VDN can make an outside call.

Does the other meetme VDN work if you dial it directly?

The vdn is a internal number and yes it works on it's own. Just getting the first vector to route to it...

I can get it to route by dialing the 9 area code and DID...but just not by extension...
