Conect 2 3com 10/100 hubs via a 3com 3000 switch

Hi,

I am going nuts trying to hook up 2 10/100 hubs via a 3000 switch I have tried everything I can think of with/without crossover port 1/24 I can get them to hook up in serial but the hubs need to be on seperate floors.

Can anyone shed any light on this.
