The Building I work at was wired with Cat3, 15 years ago.
The Conduit is the plastic corragated kind and the cable
was greased to get it in. The grease is not hard like
epoxy.. A frend told me that he's been told that steam
will losen up the grease.

How do I do this Like STEAM in a conduit, A guy could
get a cood burn. Ideas

what are you trying to accomplish?

if the conduit is that full , dont try to pull more cable , find another route .

Skip is right. You need to find another route or you could damage the existing cables and still not be able to add what you need. Also consider the conduit fill ratios that need to be followed to keep from getting in trouble with your local fire marshals office. I would also hate to see them find grease in the interduct. Would not be pretty. Should be a fire rated putty.

I said full, not all of them are full, but I will need to
get the old wire out to pull in new... The other problem is
hiding any new pipe that I have installed it's one of those
open concept buildings.

I was hoping that someone has tryed steam, as I was told that it would soffen up the grease.

Buy one of those little steamers you see on TV and use a piece of hose and a rag. If the run is continuous you may have a shot.

Have you tryed this, I've been told it works, but I want
someone who has tryed it to tell me to go ahead...

Have not tried it and it would depend on just what was used to lube to cables in the first place.

OK... I will rent the Steamer and try to pull one out.

We have an empty office in the building, If I fail I
can use that surface mount Wire Mold baseboard stuff.

If you have to go with surface mount take a look at Panduit. They have some good looking solutions.
