Conditionally stop the process scheduler Job

I have a Job in Process scheduler, which contains four app.engine programs. How can I stop the Job at the second process if the first process do not create any transactions.

Here is an example. GLPPPOST, ADB_POST and ADB-CALCX in the job. If GLPPPOST do not post any Journals I want to stop the Job before it runs ADB_POST and ADB_CALCX

Please share your ideas or give me any kind of suggestions.
