Does anyone know of a way to conditionally suppress rows without using code? I thought I could simulate this using Auto-Filter and create "flags" on the rows that met a certain condition. This works, however, the filter needs to be reset whenever the "flags" are changed for the rows to hide again. Anyway of having autofilter refresh automatically?

Thanks,

Hi,

Rows/Columns cannot be hidden automatically without VBA,

However, you could use Conditional Formatting to make the font color the same as the cell color, to effectively hide the data.

Not without VBA. But VBA does use events - so you could re-apply the filter automatically whenever a change is made to relevant fields. User does not need to run a macro, click a button or anything.
