Why can't I replicate the results of a group header summary field as a running total field.
I'm using the same field to summarise, and the same type of summary type(maximum).

Summary Total is:- ActualDate, Maximum, on GH3
Running Total is:- ActualDate, Maximum, For Each Record, Reset on GH3

I need a running total to apply a condition - is there another way of doing this?

Thanks

Insert, field object, running total field, evaluate based on a formula, enter the conditional formula you want, and finally reset based on a formula or at a change of group.

The running total field needs to be displayed in the Group 3 footer in this case, not the header. The running total in the footer should match the maximum in the header for the same group.

The running total will also display different results if you have a group selection statement, since it will ignore non-group selected records, while a regular maximum will evaluate all records.
