Hi,

I am having a problem suppressing my group footer. I dont want the group footer to print when the account balance = 0. The condition I inserted in the Section Expert is {#AcctBal}>=0.00. Group footer is to be suppressed when this condition is met. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Your formula is incorrect.
In the section expert Go to group footer and click the formula button next to suppress and write
{Table.field}=0

Thanks abc567. I wanted to suppress the group footer when the group balance is equal or greater than zero. The group balance is a running total field. Also, I am using CR8.5.

The suppression formula should just be:

{#AcctBal} = 0

...but this assumes that the running total is reset on change of the group.

Hi lbass,
That exact formula is inserted and the running total is reset on change of group. But for some reason, the report continues to print the zero balances.
Thanks.

Try this:

round({#AcctBal},0) = 0

I'm guessing there is a small decimal in the data.

lbass,
That was it. There were hidden decimals. The filter works now. Thanks for you help.
