Trying to work out if this is possible within cognos.
Data source is a very simple summary table

key description value
1 reject reason 1 nn
2 reject reason 2 nn
3 reject reason 3 nn
***********************************************************
what I would like to do is insert a reject total. can I do something that would insert a total for key = 3
***********************************************************
4 accepted total nn

end of data

Is Reject Reason always filled in?
Is it only filled in when there is a reject?

If you have a way to differentiate "Reject" records from "Accepted" records, you can group on a calculated field.

For instance,
If reject records have a Reject Code, but Accepted Records do not, then this would work:

CustomGroupField: Decode(len(Reject Code), 0, "Accepted", "Reject")

Now group on that field, show the group footer, and total the Value field.

Pain is stress leaving the body.
