conditional looping

I see a solution to a mapping problem I'm having at Microsoft's website (

but of course when I try to do it, the mapper does not let me.

It basically says to attach a logical operator to the same record as the looping functoid, saying that the loop will only happen if the result of the logical operator is true. The problem is, the mapper will not allow me to attach both. One or the other is OK, but when I try to attach the 2nd (in either order), I get the ol' icon.

Any ideas? Does it have something to do with the element properties in the file specification, or is it something in the map?
