Hi all...

CR XI and SQL Server Database.

I have a report with 3 subreports. When a subreport has value(s) it makes the background color of my group name field appear with orange background in HTML - how my users will access.

Is there a way to NOT do that? I just just crWhite for background color but it's not working.

Hi,
Is that color there even when the user's mouse has not clicked or hovered in the group header?

Also check to see if any format formula or conditional formatting is present.

thanks Turkbear... there wasn't any unusual formatting at all... it only appeared when my subreports had information returning.

I made a GH1A and GH1B. Placed the field inside A, make it 1 pt type and make the box as small as possible. Then I placed a text box over top of it.

Sloppy but it worked.

the group header would only format that way on the first time it appeared on the page... whether it was the field, a formula to display the field or the group name field.

If i suppressed it or the group header displaying it then the second time i used the field would format this way.

it's probably the wrong thing to do but for whatever reason it worked.

thanks again for help.
