Good Morning -

I have a database that I am creating, moving it from Excel to Access. Need to be able to do conditional formatting in cell for Status which includes: On-Track (Green), Concerns (Yellow) and At Risk (Red). Is there a way to do this in Access?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

How are you trying to view the data? You cannot perform conditional formatting (that I know of) within a table or query view. If you need to see it in that way, I would create a column which would calculate the status and have it say on-Track, concerns, etc. You can then create different queries so that you can filter on one of the other.

You can perform conditional formatting if you are going to create and access report. My recommendation would be to search google. I searched conditional formatting access reports and the first link seemed to do what you are looking for.

Hope this helps.

Conditional formatting works on forms as well as reports. You can do three conditions as well. If you want it to look like a table/query build a form and show in datasheet view. To do conditional formatting just right click on your field and select conditional formatting
