I struggle with conditional formatting. I can usually get it to work but I struggle to get there.

I have this in the Conditional Formatting box but it's not working when [txtHR]=0

[Forms]![pfrmProjectTaskDetails]![sfrmTaskResources]![txtHR]=0

This same protocol works on in other conditionally formatted fields on other forms. What's the best way to write a conditional formatting expression?

You can easily do it from the wizard

Formatting > Conditional Formatting

BTW, your code doesn't make sense. Tell us what are you trying to do
or if you need vba then see

I am using the wizard.

Expression is: [Forms]![pfrmProjectTaskDetails]![sfrmTaskResources]![txtHR]=0

I've used a similar expression in the Wizard and it has been successful.

How are ya jaaret . . .

. . . try this:
Code:
[blue][sfrmTaskResources].Form![txtHR]=0[/blue]
