Hi

I have a Combo Box and would like to set the Color of the box dependent on the items selected from Combo box? Any ideas pls.

For the record, the Items in Combo box are Text
Thanks

Perry

Are you in Access 2000 or higher
Select the combobox while you are at the design view of the form and choose Conditional formatting from the Format menu. You can have 3 styles + 1 as default.

Yeah Access 2000. But whatever I try doesn't seem to change the colour?
Do I use Field Value Is or Expression Is?

Thanks

Field Value"
Please check for topic "Apply or change conditional formatting on a control" in the help file that describes well.

I have done tried this and still not working.

Field Value is Equal to Active
Then i have my formatting, but it doesn't work?

Any idea as to why

Thanks Zameer

Did you try it in a different control like textbox? Also make sure you are typing correct.
