Hello Everyone.

On this particular appointment detail subform I have conditional formatting set to change the color of a control. The form is based on a query that filters the appointment information. When a new appointment record is added he form is refreshed and the newest record/appointment (sorted by time) is at the top of the list. The conditional formatting works but only when it is the last appointment created. Any ideas on how to keep conditioanl formatting from going away when a new record is added?

What is the conditional formatting?

"Field value is"
"Expression is"

Field Value is equal to "MHE-400"
Field Value is equal to "MHE-401"
Field Value is between "MHE-403" and "MHE-406"

My guess is this is not going to work and will return false:
Field Value is between "MHE-403" and "MHE-406"

This is usually used for numerics and not string values. Test it without the third condition.

Tested without the third condition and the results were the same.

I tested the between and it works, but the logic could give some weird results.
1) There are some conditional format problems with different versions of Access. What version and service pack due you have.
2)Select a record that should change. Does it change when selected?
3)Is this a calculated field?
4)Ensure you have a default condition, not transparent.

Well I'm running the database on over 20+ workstations with various service packs and versions. The two workstatiosn I have on my desk are fully updated. XP systems one with 2007 and one with Access 2003

2. The formatting works when I select the record

3. No. It's just a subform that displays data from a query as a subform.

4. Default condition is black text on white back

THanks for helping.
