Conditional formatting based on another table value

Hello

Does anyone know the syntax for a conditional formatting expression such that

the value changes if the value in another table is exceeded

for example:

in Table [Expiry Dates] and Field [Tax Expiry]

How could I make another form Text Box change colour depending on the value in the field in the Expiry Date Table ?
 
You are talking about controls on forms, right?

Get the "value in another table" into the current form so you can use it for comparison in the conditional formatting expression.
