Crystal 10. Oracle 10. I'm producing thank you letters as a Crystal export to pdf. The detail is variable and sometimes the white space is too large to suit the higher up. Is there any way of having a text block display in a larger font size if another text block is small? Or conversely, display in a smaller font size if another text block is large and might push everything onto a second page? I'm not sure how I can make this kind of adjustment.

In format field got to font tab

In formula box opposite font size try something like

If length(Bigfield) > 500 then 8 else 10

This will check number of characters in your other text block and if more than a certain mout reduce font of your second field.

YOu can apply this to a text box too but the length can only check a specific field.
