I'm really struggling on this one. I'm trying to create a letter in Word that will give an an address depending on the contents of a field. ie if delivery address is blank then put in company address if not put in delivery address. Every time I run the document I get

"merge canceled" then "object has been deleted"

I'm relativly new to this and may not be going about it the right way. Perhaps there is a better way to do it. If anyone could point me in the right direction I woud be forever greatful.

Cheers

I'm running ACT! 2008 and Word 2003

The only option is to have to Word documents... one for each address set.

Do a lookup and send the appropriate lookup to each template

Thanks for that I'll investigate going down that line. So am I unable to use the 'If' command in word?

I found this from the INSERT/FIELD/IF menu in Word.

Cheers
