I was under the impression that the hidden text one had to be wary of using was that which matched the color of the background so as to become invisible, but that putting text in the first layer below the body tag and making that layer 'hidden' was cool.
How could a search engine distinguish between a hidden layer used for hiding key words and one of the many used for fly out menus and such things?
