I am trying to draw triangles and polygons to produce quilting blocks for my wife. It is easy to use Draw (8) to create the initial figure, but I need to add 1/4" to each edge to allow for a seam allowance.

Is there some function to do this? It would seem that concentric circles are a snap. Are there concentric triangles?

Hi jduer,

Select the object to be outlined
Go to -Effects- on the menu bar
Click -Contour-
Then click radio button that says -outside-
Then place .25 in box that says -offset-
Be sure there is a 1 in the -Steps- box
Then click on -Apply-
