Concatenating the contents of multiple folders into one "virtual" dir

I have a need to combine the contents of multiple directories (across multiple volumes/NT 4 servers) into one virtual directory for Windows 2000 clients.

I don't want to concatenate share points (as I understand W2K Dfs does)--I want the contents of each directory to appear to be in one directory to the user (without replicating the data to a secodnary location).

Are there any third-party tools to accomplish this?

if you map one folder: H

within H:

make folders that are actually shortcuts to the other shared folders on the other volumes.

they should be able to list all, and denied if trying to access a folder they shouldn't be allowed too.

i know this works on w2k, i haven't played around with nt4 too much.

if you make a folder on w2k, you can then go to the properties of it and devert it to the correct location:

\\srv1\public

good luck.
