Concatenate a numeric field into the footer section 1

I want to display a numeric field in the footer section (concatenated). In the report I have two fields:

Date Batchno
01/11/04 2185
01/11/04 2186
01/11/04 2187

I want to display in the footer section 2185-2186-2187

I know how to do this for a string field using three formulas (reset,accum,display). Reset is placed in the header section, accum in the details section and display in the footer but i can't seem to get it to work for a numeric value.

I am using version 8.5 and connecting via odbc to a microsoft access database.

Do the same thing as your 3 formula methos, except wrap the numeric field in:

totext({table.numeric},0,"")
