ComuniGatePro and port 25 SMTP

I installed comunigatepro a mail server and port 25 will not open on my linux box. I have redhat 8.0 and when i do an nmap from another machine, port 25 isnt open. I cant see why not???

There is no firewall. The default policy is accept for the forward, input and out chains. The only thing i have done to ipchains is setup ipforwarding so i can test the mail server. Any other ideas?
