We have a domains with approximately 4 servers and 25 workstations. When we go to network neighborhood on different computers some of them can see all the computers in the domain while others only see a few and others a few more, etc. We can ping these computers though and map a drive with the path name.
2 of the servers are NT 4.0 and they can see everyone, the other 2 servers are Win2K and they can see about 8 computers.
We have checked all the setting to see that they are the same and everything appears to be ok. We have tried various things like installing NetBuei to the Win2K servers, but that did not help. Any suggestions on what to look at would be helpful

Sounds like a NetBios issue, have you got WINS services running on the 2K servers?

WINS.

Also, disable master browser on any PC's as these can confuse matters. Only allow one Master browser, the server with WINS.

Check your software firewall settings. ZoneAlarm, etc.

What is Master Browser and how does one enable or disable it

are the subnet masks all the same ?>
this is a very simplistic explanation of subnetting.

N= Must match
x= Dont care

ip N.x.x.1
subnet mask 255.0.0.0
can see from N.0.0.2 -> N.255.255.254

ip N.N.x.1
subnet mask 255.255.0.0
can only see from N.N.0.2 -> N.N.255.254

ip N.N.N.1
subnet mask 255.255.255.0
can only see from N.N.N.2 -> N.N.N.254
