When I boot my laptop, I experience a weird problem. I currently have XP installed on my laptop. The computer will boot normally, however when I get to the login page my computer will show a blue screen with an error message, then it attempts to reboot. Then the computer will cycle through an repeat the same error. I'm never given the opportunity to get through to my desktop. My computer cycles for hours. I have a bug, but I'm not sure how to remedy. Does anyone have any ideas?

It COULD be a virus, but it's PROBABLY a hardware failure or bad driver. You should post the first two or three lines of the blue screen if you can.

The blue screen appears for less than a second before it goes through a rebooting process. I'm not allotted much time to read anything.

Try pressing F8 as soon as the computer starts (hit it several times, if necessary) - a menu should appear that allows you to turn off the automatic reboot and let you see the error.
