Hello,

When I'm starting up my computer there is no problem. After 3minutes that I use this computer it turns off. I have it with all my programms (Microsoft Office). My operating system is win98. What can be the problem of this problem? is there something wrong with the power? a loss of power? or...

thanks in advance.

A failing power supply will also cause this, have one here in shop that will run for about 5 mins then shutdown.

So when I change my power supply the problem could be solved?

thanks in advance.

Could be is the right words, i guess there is never really any guarentee by that would be my first suggestion

Oké thanks,

I will replace my power supply. I hope this will work. It's very hard to work on a computer that crashes all the time.

thanks for your quick reactions.

or possibly it could be that the mboard is shutting down cause of the cpu temp. Some bios's have a limit that you can set and when it reaches that the mboard automatically shuts down. Maybe look for some motherboard monitoring software or something like cpukool that will let you see what the temps and fan speeds are.
