I was copying a file a large file across the network when I received an error " cannot write to F" and the computer froze. Forced to restart. Computer cannot get past Verifying DMI Data Pool. Tried startup disc. Cannot read C: says Invalid File Format. Prior to Verifying DMI, it does show the HDD as being recognized and their is power running at the HDD. Is this maybe an MBR issue or something else?

I had a similar issue recently. I swapped some of my cards around, and that sorted it.
