Can anyone please help me.. A friend of mine has bought a new computer. He's running XP Home, but everyime the phone rings, the computer starts up automatically if it is switched off. I've tried uninstalling the fax software thinking it may be the fax in the modem answering the phone, I have also checked the options in the modem but couldn't find anything there either.. It still boots up when the phone rings. I can't think of anything else it could be.
