I have a printer problem on a small network (10 computers). 2 computers have a fresh installation of Windows XP Home Edition, all updtaes, Norton Antivirus, Ad-Aware. These 2 computers have a wierd printer problem. When login to the user account after a reboot or the first boot, the computer send the last print job to the network printer (HP laserjet 1200 with a print server), whatever the last print job (word doc, Excel, windows printer test page,..). The network has 2 network printer (the hp and another epson) but this problem only affect these 2 computers with the hp printer. No spyware, no virus is detected. The lastest hp driver as been installed. I temporary solve the problem by changing the printer name after the driver installation but this solution is only good for 48 hours. After 48 hours I have the same problem again. It cannot be a print server problem because only 2 computer on 10 have this problem. All the computer on the network run MS XP home edition. No problem with the spool, all the files are corectly deleted after each print jobs. There is something that keep the last print job in memory but not in the system32/spool/printers folder.
