Hi,

We recently bought a new ATI Radeon X1300 video card, but when we installed it in the slot, computer doesnot recognize it. We disabled onboard video adapter before doing it. We followed all the steps mentioned in the manual bfore proceeding.

Can anybody help us in this regard.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure the video card is compatible with your system, and it's firmly seated.
If no luck, then either try it in another system or install a different card in your system. If another card works ok, or your card does not work elsewhere, then your card is bad.
If another card does not work, or your card works elsewhere, then your video card slot is bad.

You need to uninstall the old video drivers. Also, score a copy of Driver Cleaner Pro and remove all traces of your old drivers for best results.
