Ok here's the story.

1. First problem I noticed is that I can't browse certain sites. IE would just hang and not go anywhere.

2. Second problem when I play any game the game freezes.

I'm not sure what is wrong or if they are both related? I was thinking about replacing my Video card but because IE would hang. For example I can not go to Yahoo.com, it looks like it's going but it never loads. I'm thinking the problem is something else.

Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

I'd bet on it being a non-video issue, but certainly you can update your video driver if you haven't already done so. Then do the following steps to rule out other issues. See if the same thing happens in safe mode.

Try all the following to see if you get any hits of actual things wrong.

Virus Scan (AVG is free)

Spyware Scan (CCleaner/Spybot/AVG are freebies)

Memory Test (
Chkdsk or HDD diagnostic test

Update BIOS (if there is a newer version)

Run onboard diagnostics (if any) or see if you can get them from the manufacturer and use from CD or floppy

Overheating a possibility??? (dead cooling fan?) Can you check Mobo/processor temp in BIOS???

wkim623 Sorry friend..... First rule of posting... Include all your details... hardware, software, history of fault etc.

1. Not enough info.
2. Any error messages? Have you checked your event log?
3. My guess is you will want to back up everything you don't want to loose (now) because your machine is full of spyware/viruses and needs to just be fully wiped out and restored.
