CompTIA Exams to Expire !!! 1

Yes A+, N+ and Security+ now retroactively Expire !!!!

This is a truly awful decision that shows no integrity from CompTIA, I really hope they see the error of their ways and reverse it.

Good news: there was enough outrage (and no doubt talk of lawsuits, since the exams were marketed as lifetime certifications) that CompTIA has reversed their position. Existing certifications will not expire. Anyone who completes A+, Network+, Server+, or Security+ during 2010 will also get a lifetime cert. Anyone who gets certified in 2011 or later will have to either recertify every three years or do continuing education.
