CompTIA Convergence or CTP 2007? 1

Hi all

Is there a quick answer to which exam is better Comptia convergence or CTP Pro 07?

I mainly install and support IP Office amongst other PBX systems and deal with switches and routers occasionally.

quick answer? here goes...

TIA is probably more recognized than CompTIA (in certain circles). I know some vendors require CTP as a base level cert before you can get certified on their gear. Check out the CTP website to see the companies that support the CTP. If you are more IT focused then the CompTIA might carry a little more weight but if you plan to persue more telco certs then I would consider the CTP.
