I just received my Comptia A+ certification after many hours of fustration of studying the wrong materials and paying a local school, who's name I won't reveal here, but its wasn't New Horizions or ECPI; a local TEC college.
They gave me ElementK course materials and selftestsoftware for practice tests. This material is no good to pass the exams, info you need yes, but not everything is covered in ElementK for passing the tests. Selftestsoftware doesn't ask all the right questions either.
You need transcender practice tests, and read books by Mike Myers on Operating Systems and Core Hardware. Classes for me was a big waste of time and money. The above is a MUST do and have.

quote from some movie:

one day you are going to wake up and realize you spent 100 thousand dollars on a degree you could of got form a book store with a 25 cent late fee. however;

congrads on passing!

Powmia well, the classes were not wasted by any means! I learned a ton of stuff from them. Not everyone can learn totally from a book! Just a few things not covered. Things change so fast in books and materials is hard to have JUST THE RIGHT STUFF I PASSED THAT'S ALL I CARE ABOUT!
