Ok here's the set up I want to do.
Multiple LCD monitors or projects (probably 4 of them).
Arrange them so that they form a 2X2 box.

I'm gonna connect the monitors to one computer with 2 dual output video cards and software to control what gets displayed on the 4 screens.
I wish to get the display information possibly from one or more computers on the network.
Does anyone have any clue on how to accomplish this?
Software/hardware information is welcome.
Internet links too.
Thanks

I have tested multiple monitors working in Win98 with:-
1 on board video & 3 PCI cards
1 APG card and 3 PCI cards (on board disabled if exists)
1 quad video card (expensive and check limited screen resolution depending on card memory)
May work with 1 dual card and 2 PCI cards (not tested)

I have tried SIS and S3 cards OK

Setting up in WIN2000 gets complicated depending on the order you install the slots and conflicts with other devices

The application has to know which monitor to use by setting the form left and top properties eg. if Top left was Screen 1 the position of the bottom right would be have to be least Left=16000, Top=13000 for a 1024x768 screen

If using different application in each monitor, they have to be of the type that you can drag normalised to the wanted screen and remembers where they were when they were last closed Like Word or Excel does then started maximised.
