I work for a commercial printer and am often asked to print a composite of a color piece to be printed in one color. It seems that I have no control over the line screen to be printed and the PPD dropdown list is grayed out.

Does anyone know a way to select the PPD or the line screen when printing a composite image?

Thanks,
George

Firstly you need a postscript level 2 printer.
Secondly, Select printer instead of postscript, Select composite grey then under screen change from default to custom. Then you can alter the frequency to whatever screen lpi you require
